A Festival of Winter Walks

From the 20 December to 4 January, Ramblers Groups from around Britain are organising free group walks, some will be short strolls and others a hearty ramble.  What better way to burn off that Christmas dinner?

As part of the Festival of Winter Walks, Lampeter Ramblers are holding the following walks:

Saturday 27th December 2014, 10am – Walking the line

Two forts walk & back on the old railway with Lampeter Rugby club. Soup to follow.

Distance: 5 miles. Grade: Leisurely

Saturday 3rd January 2015, 9am – Cwm Alltwalis

A linear walk up Cwm Alltwallis, Mynydd Rhos-wen, Blaengwen Wind farm to Pencader.

Bring bus pass or bus money!

Distance: 7 miles. Grade: Moderate.
