I didn’t learn to ride a bike until I was ten and never really moved on from novice stage. But now on family holidays I really would like to try mountain biking, despite the slight nervousness. So having a guide/instructor to come with us sounds just about right. This is such a lovely part of the world, full of paths and plenty of ups and downs, that’s for sure. And I’m very reassured by the fact that someone else will know what to do if I get a puncture or bash a crucial bit of the bike. Have already spoken to Matt and he’s very reassuring! Have booked our first family excursion for July. Is that time enough to get as fit as a ten-year-old?
